Music is the soundtrack to my life experiences. I love the way a song I hear from my youth makes me feel…. I listen and I’m transported back to sitting in my room on my light green shag rug listening to a song over and over until I know it word for word. When I hear that song today, I’m filled with emotion with what the words meant to me at the time. You can’t stop me from listening to this song, over and over like when I was a kid until I know every word! The words that give me the feeling of always moving forward, even in the face of adversity. I believe everyone has challenges they face everyday, it’s how we confront them and move through them that we see our potential.
