The Roman Catholic Diocese of Burlington is celebrating the Jubilee Year of Mercy for Families on July 17, 2016 with a pilgrimage to St. Anne’s Shrine. Families are welcome to celebrate faith and community on the beautiful St. Anne’s property located on the shores of Lake Champlain, 92 St Anne’s Rd. Isle La Motte, VT 05463. Bishop Christopher J. Coyne will celebrate Mass at 12:15. Following a procession, a picnic-style lunch will be available for those who registered before July 8th and others are welcome to bring their own lunch. All will have an opportunity to explore and enjoy the 32-acre grounds that includes beach access. Parishioners and friends are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, blankets, lawn games, etc. as it will be a day of devotion and relaxation.
