This family event in the Great North Woods celebrates its 146th year with midway rides, livestock shows, live music, horse shows, livestock and motorized pulling contests, ventriloquist shows, Farmer for a Day program and other Kids Korner activities, agriculture and craft demonstrations, exhibits, contests, favorite fair food and more.
Highlights include the 8th Annual Fireman’s Muster (7 pm Thursday), 22nd Annual Cruise Night (6 pm Friday), Sawyer Brown concert (7 pm Saturday), Kow Kostume Kontest (1:30 pm Sunday) and Oxen Obstacle Course Double Challenge (10 am Monday).
Single-day admission includes parking, unlimited midway rides, and free grandstand shows and entertainment: $15 Thursday, Friday and Monday; $17 Saturday and Sunday; or $65 for a season pass. Children under 36 inches tall are admitted free with a paying adult. Current/Active Military Discount is $2 off admission. Admission for seniors ages 70 and older is free on Thursday and Monday and $10 Friday – Sunday.
Paid grandstand shows are $10 each (free for children under 36 inches with a paying adult): Big Rig Truck Pull (1 pm Sunday), 4×4 Truck Pull (6 pm Sunday) and Demolition Derby (3:30 pm Monday).
The fair opens at 8:30 am. Midway hours are noon to 11 pm Thursday – Friday, 11:30 am to 11 pm Saturday – Sunday, and 11:30 am to 9 pm Monday.
