Following a year’s hiatus, the Middlebury Summer Festival on-the-Green brings fabulous music back to the heart of Middlebury – Addison County’s Shire Town – August 2 through 6, 2021. This free, family-friendly music series, supported by community donations, has earned designation for multiple years as a Vermont Top 10 Summer Event. Kenyan-born performance artist KeruBo’s dynamic ensemble – playing gospel, blues and Afro-jazz – will kick off our week. Great music continues with The Paul Asbell Quintet; Treetop Mansion, the new project of Clint Bierman and Peter Day (of Grift fame); Beg, Steal or Borrow, Vermont’s hottest bluegrass band; and Low Lily, an American folk/harmony string trio.
