Machine Gun Kelly – a.k.a. MGK – has released the official video for “Starman,” a standout track from his 2025 album Lost Americana. Directed by Sam Cahill, the visual features the massive Statue of Liberty stage set from his arena-spanning Lost Americana Tour alongside dynamic live performance footage. See the video for ‘Starman’ – HERE.
Starman explores MGK’s “relatable struggles with fear and escapism by recasting the iconic chorus of Third Eye Blind’s 1997 alternative hit ‘Semi-Charmed Life’ in a modern context,” and is co-written, produced, and performed with Travis Barker—who also drums on the song—along with longtime collaborators SlimXX, BazeXX, Nick Long, and No Love For The Middle Child.
MGK also dropped the music video for “goddamn,” which offers fans an intimate glimpse of life on the road during his expansive Lost Americana tour. Directed by Sam Cahill, the video takes a documentary-style approach, following mgk and his band as they move through backstage corridors and tour locations across Europe while preparing for a concert. The track goddamn was written, produced and performed by MGK alongside SlimXX, BazeXX, Nick Long and No Love For The Middle Child, and appears on mgk’s 2025 album Lost Americana, which debuted in the Billboard 200 Top 5 and became MGK’s third consecutive No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Rock & Alternative Albums chart.
Additionally, following a brief winter hiatus MGK’s Lost Americana Tour resumed in Europe and will return to the U.S. on May 15 in Wheatland, CA, before concluding on July 1 in Ridgefield, WA.
