To balance the savory appetizers this Sunday, I thought I would share a sweet treat!
Football Rice Krispy Treats
- 4cups Cocoa flavored Rice Krispy Cereal
- 4cups mini-marshmallows
- 3tablespoons butter
- vanilla frosting
- melting the butter in a large pot over medium heat. Add marshmallows and heat until melted and smooth. Be sure not to burn the mixture.
- Add krispy cereal and mix until incorporated.
- Let cool for approximately 15 minutes on counter.
- Roll a ball slightly larger than a golf ball of the mixture and then press flat on parchment paper.
- Form into football shape.
- Once cool, frosting to the treats for the details and laces of the football.
- Enjoy!
