DESCRIPTION:Following a year’s hiatus\, the Middlebury Summer Festival on-the-Green brings fabulous music back to the heart of Middlebury – Addison County’s Shire Town – August 2 through 6\, 2021. This free\, family-friendly music series\, supported by community donations\, has earned designation for multiple years as a Vermont Top 10 Summer Event. Kenyan-born performance artist KeruBo’s dynamic ensemble – playing gospel\, blues and Afro-jazz – will kick off our week. Great music continues with The Paul Asbell Quintet; Treetop Mansion\, the new project of Clint Bierman and Peter Day (of Grift fame); Beg\, Steal or Borrow\, Vermont’s hottest bluegrass band; and Low Lily\, an American folk/harmony string trio.
